High Tech High

I was asked to co-host a series of resume workshops at High Tech High in San Diego. HTH has evolved into an integrated network of sixteen charter schools serving approximately 6,350 students in grades K-12 across four campuses. This is not the High School learning environment we grew up in folks! It was amazing and the kids were extremely receptive. I worked with 5x groups of 11th graders, presenting, advising, and giving insight into the working world and of course info on the topic of resumes. The highlights for me were working one-on-one with them and a per/session 2-minute transfer of knowledge about the Japanese concept of “Ikigai” a fascinating ideology that helps you find and realize your life’s purpose.
